Dementia and helping children to understand.

Just felt the need to share this great book that may support people who have children who are trying to understand what is happening to a grandparent or parent, friends etc.

It’s worth a look and certainly worth talking to children before they have to deal with anyone they know who may have Dementia.

  1. This is twice in one night I have come across this story. Thanks for sharing it. It helps that my kids can understand my mom through stories like these

  2. I really hope it places some understanding for your children and in a way that does not scare them. Let me know if it helps or at least gives some support for you to talk to them. Sorry to hear about your mum. Thank you for your comment, Dementia is difficult for adults to get out head round too.
